Speaker – Laurel Weeks

Dr. Laurel Weeks (writing as Laurel Corona) is a Victoria-based author and retired Humanities professor who has written multiple books, both fiction and non-fiction. She is known for historical fiction highlighting women forgotten or misrepresented in history. Her highly acclaimed novel, Aloha Wanderwell Takes the Wheel, details the real-life adventures of the first woman to drive around the world.

Laurel is also a CFUW Victoria member.
